The hospitality industry extends its hours from March 19

The Galician hospitality industry extends its opening hours to the public and slightly modifies its capacity in the latest restrictions published by the Xunta.

The Official Gazette of Galicia published on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 17, the new measures for the prevention of COVID-19 and that will come into force from 00 hours on March 19.

Among the most prominent restrictions, relief to the hospitality sector, which may remain open until 9:00 p.m.

🚗 Total mobility allowed throughout Galicia, except in the municipalities with the first level of incidence (Vilardevós, Paradela and Maside) that will not be able to leave or enter the perimeter without just cause.

🔵 Galicia continues to be closed on the perimeter with a curfew between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

🏠 Meetings of non-partners in private homes are prohibited. Social gatherings are limited to a maximum of 6 people outdoors and 4 indoors, with the exception of municipalities that are at the maximum level.

🛒 TRADE. 50% of the capacity. Closing at 9.30 pm.

👚 SHOPPING CENTERS OR PARKS. 30% of the capacity. Closing at 9.30 pm.

👨‍🏫 ACADEMIES, DRIVING SCHOOLS, PRIVATE TRAINING CENTERS. 50% of the capacity.

👩‍💼 PROFESSIONAL, LABOR MEETINGS. 30% of the capacity in all the territories, except in the municipalities in the medium-low level, which increases to 50% of capacity. The capacity limits, in any case, will be a maximum of 75 people indoors and 150 outdoors.

Regarding the distribution of restriction levels by municipalities, we highlight:

🔴 MAXIMUM RESTRICTION.

Vilardevós, Paradela and Maside.

  • The current restrictions are maintained.
  • SOCIAL MEETINGS. Prohibited
  • HOSTELRY. Closed.
  • SPORT. Only individually or with cohabiting people, and with a mask.

🟠 HIGH RESTRICTION.

Sobrado, Boborás, A Mezquita, Pontecesures, Neda and Arteixo.

  • HOSTELRY. Only terraces with a capacity of 50% (max. 4 people per table), and until 9:00 p.m.
  • SPORT. Maximum of six people, whether or not they are living together. In closed facilities, it can be done in groups of up to four people, without physical contact, with a mask and a capacity of 30%.

🟡 MEDIUM RESTRICTION.

Boimorto, A Coruña, Culleredo, Mugardos, Ponteceso, Valdoviño, Bergondo, Laxe, Chantada, Guitiriz, Pantón, Sober, Soutomaior and Coles.

  • HOSTELRY. Inside the premises with a capacity of 30% (max. 4 people per table), terraces with a capacity of 50% (max. 6 people per table) and until 9:00 pm.
  • SPORT. Maximum of six people. In closed facilities, it can be done in groups of up to four people, without physical contact, with a mask and a capacity of 30%.

🟢 MEDIUM-LOW RESTRICTION.

Rest of the municipalities of Galicia.

  • HOSTELRY. Interior with a capacity of 50% (max. 4 people per table), terraces with a capacity of 75% (max. 6 people per table) and until 9:00 pm.
  • SPORT. Maximum of six people. In closed facilities, it can be done in groups of up to four people, without physical contact, with a mask and a capacity of 50%.
