Vigo Free Zone opens the doors of collaboration to the businessmen of the Polígono San Cibrao.
Free Zone has shown the model of parks that it manages to the representatives of the Businessmen’s Association in order to reach an agreement with the Consortium to replicate its successful system and even bring the figure of the Free Zone to Ourense.
The State delegate, David Regades, received at the Consortium headquarters in Bouzas, the businessmen of the Polígono San Cibrao, where they held a meeting to learn about its activity.
The Zona Franca business park system is considered exemplary, where the owners of the plots together with the Consortium of the Vigo Free Zone and the City Council are the pillars of effective financing for their conservation and maintenance.
Finally, the San Cibrao businessmen also visited the Technological and Logistics Park in Vigo and the Porto do Molle in Nigrán.
The visit was carried out in a satisfactory way between both entities.
The State delegate pointed out that “the visit of the Ourense businessmen also represents a recognition of the work that we carry out from the Consortium, where supporting the economy, companies and job creation is our main objective”, in addition Regades himself He was open “to studying collaboration formulas to extend the Free Trade Zone model.”
For his part, the president of the Association, José Antonio Rodríguez, insisted on the benefits of establishing ties of joint collaboration, “establishing synergies, cooperation and understanding with the Vigo Free Zone, joining forces to achieve goals that will benefit the tissues business of both towns”.
Both organizations agreed to study the possible creation of a customs space in Polígono San Cibrao, with companies being able to benefit from the tax advantages that this provides, not paying tariffs or internal taxes, until their customs clearance, also making it tailored to their needs.
